Aggregating Skeptical Thought

The Marcus Ross Dilemma, 2007-02-23

I have been following the story of one Marcus Ross, granted a Ph.D. in geoscience from the University of Rhode Island, who just happens to adhere to the belief that the Earth is no more than 10,000 years old. Bit of a conundrum.

Janet Stemwedel did a great piece on the intellectual honesty (or lack thereof) of Mr. Ross and has followed up again with another excellently written piece about the “place of belief in the production of scientific knowledge.”
