Biofuel Booster

Researchers from Purdue University have proposed that injecting additional hydrogen into the biofuel gasification process that it will increase the amount of carbon the new biofuels can capture and therefore reduce the amount of land necessary to grow biofuels by two-thirds. Only one catch, the amount of hydrogen needed is rather expensive.

The researchers are currently working on a fuel scale model and solar cell hydrogen production.
